Complaint Handling and Redressal Standards

The ‘‘Complaint Handling and Redressal Standards relating to Distribution and Supply of Power (Standards of Performance)’’ issued by KERC is hereby approved for adoption.

This will come into effect from 01.01.2002 as notified by KERC.

As per the terms of the Licence granted to KPTCL, the Licensee (KPTCL) shall,

(i) Make a copy of the above standard, revised from time to time, available for inspection by Members of the Public at each of the O&M Offices during normal working hours.

(ii) Provide free of charge a copy of the above standard revised from time to time, to each new consumer and to any other person, who requests it at a price not exceeding the cost of printing/duplicating any amended part.

NOTE :
The KERC has issued supply licence in accordance with Section-19 of KER Act 1999 to KPTCL in its Order No. R/01/1410 dated 07-12-2000. Hence in the Complaint Handling and Redressal Standards relating to Distribution and Supply of Power, wherever the word licensee appears, it shall be read as KPTCL.
