IGNORANCE
OF RULES
Ignorance
of Law, Rules and this Code on the part of all the concerned is no excuse for not adhering
to them.
RESERVATION
OF RIGHTS
The
Commission reserves the right at any time to cancel, alter or add to any of the provisions
of this Code. The changes so effected shall be binding on the Licensee and the Consumer
automatically.
INTERPRETATION
In
case of any dispute in interpretation of this Code, the interpretation of the Commission
is final.
REPEAL
AND SAVINGS
"ELECTRICITY
SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION CODE, 2000-01" of Karnataka Electricity Regulatory
Commission, shall come into force with effect from the date of publication in the official
gazette of Karnataka and will be in force unless amended otherwise.
KEB /
KPTCL Supply Regulations, 1988 (Seventh Edition) with all its upto date amendments are
here by repealed.
However,
the provisions of the KEB / KPTCL Electricity Supply Regulations, 1988 (Seventh Edition)
with all its amendments issued there on shall apply in respect of period prior to the date
of coming into force of the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (Electricity
Supply and Distribution) Code, 2000-01. |
